Pick Suno if you need songs you can actually use. Its v6 models (September 2026) add section editing, lyric swaps and multi-input generation, and Pro at $10/mo ($8/mo billed yearly) gives 20 downloads a month with commercial rights. Udio still sounds good, but downloads have been switched off since its October 2025 settlement with Universal, so anything you make stays inside Udio. Udio becomes worth a second look once its licensed platform with Universal and Warner launches and it says what downloads and rights will look like.
