The Diagram Trust Kit — Make Your Coding Agent Draw VERIFIED Architecture Diagrams of Any Codebase: the One-Line archify Install, the Docs-Locked Prompt Verbatim, the 10-Arrow Fact-Check Script, and the 3-Step Trust Test for Any AI Diagram

The companion to the video. The #1 trending repo on GitHub the week of Aug 30, 2026 — tt-a1i/archify, +14,875 stars in 7 days — claims it draws VERIFIABLE architecture, sequence, workflow, and data-flow diagrams from your code, as interactive self-contained HTML. So I ran the meanest test I could think of: I cloned apache/maka (an Apache-incubating AI agent workspace that ships its own ARCHITECTURE.md), locked the AI out of the docs, and made archify draw the whole system from raw source. 12 minutes 50 seconds later the drawing's central thesis matched the maintainers' hidden document — and all 10 sampled arrows verified back to real file:line evidence, zero hallucinated, checked live on camera. PAGE 2 — INSTALL: the exact one-line project-local install for Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex, plus the safety habit (skills run with full agent permissions — here's the 1-sentence audit prompt). PAGE 3 — THE PROMPT: the docs-locked generation prompt word for word, including the NOTES.md evidence trick that turns every arrow into a checkable claim. PAGE 4 — THE TRUST TEST: the 3-step test that works on ANY AI diagram (hide the docs → generate from raw source → make it prove 10 arrows to file:line), plus the fact-check script prompt. PAGE 5 — RESULTS & HONESTY: my full receipts, the no-skill control run (plain Claude Code drew a decent diagram in ~6 min — archify adds verification, not intelligence), and when to skip the skill entirely. Every claim from live runs on my machine August 30, 2026. Independent kit from Hyperautomation Labs — not affiliated with the archify project or Anthropic.
