FREE BROWSER AGENT — TESTED

The browser agent that only points: Jev Ultrafast set up in 3 steps, my race against a classic AI agent, and the one-change fix when TypeSafe is full

The companion to the video. Jev Ultrafast is a free, open-source (MIT) browser agent from Browser Use, built on TypeSafe's Jev: the AI never writes an action, it points at a numbered menu of the page. I raced it on September 25, 2026 against classic Browser Use with Gemini 3.8 Flash on the same Google Flights task. PAGE 1 — what it is and the loop in one breath, my race table (82.4 s with 29 server rejections on the clock and about $0.003, vs 100.8 s and $0.148, both verified), and the authors' own limits. PAGE 2 — setup in 3 steps, and the gateway shim I used to run the same Jev through Vercel AI Gateway when TypeSafe signups were full. Independent guide from Hyperautomation Labs — not affiliated with Browser Use or TypeSafe.
